Privacy Policy

Human Voice Over ("the app") is operated by Utivilla. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: your words stay your words, and your content stays private.

What we collect

• Account information. If you use Sign in with Apple, we store the stable identifier Apple provides and, if you share it, your name and email address. Anonymous sessions store only a random identifier.
• Your text and generated audio. Text you submit for narration and the audio we generate are stored so you can replay them from your library.
• Usage records. We track narration minutes generated to enforce plan allowances, and basic request metadata for security and rate limiting.
• Subscription state. Apple processes all payments. We store the subscription's product identifier and expiry to unlock your plan. We never see your payment details.

How your text is processed

To generate narration, your text is sent from our servers to OpenAI's speech and language APIs. Your text is never used to train our models. Human Voice Over never rewrites, summarizes, or alters your text. Analysis only decides which voice reads which part and how it is delivered.

Human Voice Over is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI or Apple.

Dictation and file uploads

If you dictate text, speech recognition is performed on your device wherever your language supports it, and the audio is not sent to us. On languages without on-device support, Apple's speech recognition processes the audio under Apple's privacy policy. We never receive or store dictation audio: only the resulting text, once you choose to narrate it.

Text files you upload are read on your device and their contents are treated exactly like text you typed. We do not store the original file.

Retention and deletion

• You can delete any narration from your library at any time; its audio file is removed from our servers.
• You can delete your entire account in Settings → Delete Account. This removes your account, your library, stored text, audio files, and usage records.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data.
• We don't show ads.
• We don't log the content of your text in application logs.

Security

All traffic uses HTTPS. Content is stored on access-controlled servers and is only accessible from your authenticated account.
